This role is based in Karachi and plays a vital part in growing our footprint across the public sector while promoting compliance, quality assurance, and risk management solutions.

🎯 Purpose of the Position – Assistant Manager Sales (Government Services)

The Assistant Manager Sales – Government Services (GS) plays a strategic role in driving business development and revenue growth within the public sector market. The position is aligned with Bureau Veritas’ Quality Assurance System, Code of Ethics, and Group policies.

🔑 Key Purpose & Responsibilities

  • Business Development for Government Services (GS):
    Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the Government Services sector across designated markets and products.
  • Driving Growth through Strategic Sales Planning:
    Ensures consistent and profitable sales growth by using a structured market approach, targeting new scopes and customers.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Builds and maintains strong relationships with key government clients and stakeholders to expand Bureau Veritas’ footprint in the public sector.
  • Collaboration with Marketing Team:
    Works closely with the marketing and communication team to enhance brand visibility and support lead generation.
  • Identifying Strategic Opportunities:
    Analyzes market trends to determine sales objectives, growth opportunities, and action plans for both short- and long-term revenue enhancement.
  • Ethical & Quality-Driven Performance:
    Operates in full compliance with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, upholding the BV Code of Ethics and adhering to corporate governance policies.

Quotation PreparationDevelop and submit customized quotations in consultation with GS Manager.
Job Execution CoordinationCreate job files, prepare job instructions, and coordinate field inspections.
Scheduling & DeploymentFinalize inspection schedules and deploy field inspectors in collaboration with Inspection Coordinator.
Client CommunicationProvide daily job progress updates, issue final reports/certificates, and manage invoicing & payments.
Customer Feedback & Service QualityCollect and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Client Visits & ReportingConduct regular client visits, submit weekly reports, and share project alerts.
Sales Pipeline MonitoringUse Salesforce to track leads, proposals, and sales actions. Maintain up-to-date visibility on the pipeline.
Sales Force ManagementDefine sales objectives, set incentive policies, and manage back-office sales operations.
Commercial Strategy ImplementationExecute country/business unit commercial strategy effectively.
Key Account UpdatesIdentify and regularly update Key Account Projects and set sales strategies.
